This October for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, I’m hosting a gorgeous new project! It will be called “CAPTURE YOUR GRIEF”. If you have experienced the death of your baby/ies/child/ren then this project is designed just for you! It doesn’t matter whether you are only a week into this walk or you have been walking this road for 20 years, all are welcome to join in. All you will need is a camera. It doesn’t have to be some big fancy DSLR – a phone camera, pocket digital camera or even a disposable camera will do, hey anything that takes a photo will suffice!
You can join in this photo project through whatever way you like, that could be through your own blog or website, through you favourite social media website like facebook or twitter or any photo sharing website like pinterest or instagram – whatever you want! This is an opportunity for you to document your grief for a month and to share it with the world through the lens of your camera.
So come back in late September, get all the details and get a preview of the subjects that will be set for the 31 days.

we lost our son three octobers ago, two days after my husband’s birthday, so it’s always a hard month for me. i’ll be participating in this, and honoring his life and the pain i feel because of his absence in our home.

I will be participating in this in memory of my daughter, Daisy Grace. Perhaps it will help me get back my interest in photography – I had a sideline job taking maternity and newborn shots but since losing Daisy I have no interest in picking up my camera. I look forward to finding out more at the end of this month.
